DevOps setup services for startups

I set up the delivery pipeline, artifact management, cloud infrastructure and monitoring your startup needs, then hand it over with documentation your team can run on its own.

What I set up

Pick the pieces you need, or take the whole launch kit.

CI/CD pipelines

Build, test, scan and deploy on every push, with GitHub Actions workflows or Jenkins pipelines as code. Pull request checks, GitHub rulesets and protected branches, reusable templates and self-hosted runners. Platform detail →

JFrog Artifactory, self-hosted

Install, secure and configure Artifactory on your own servers. Docker, npm, Maven, Gradle and PyPI repositories, remote caches, retention rules and build promotion between environments. More detail →

jfrogartifactorydocker-registry

Containers and Kubernetes

Lean Dockerfiles, docker-compose for local development, and Kubernetes with Helm charts when you’ve outgrown a single server. Rolling deploys and instant rollback.

dockerkuberneteshelm

Server and environment setup

Cloud or VPS servers, networks and environments set up with Ansible playbooks, so they can be rebuilt the same way every time and nothing lives only in someone’s head.

ansibleawsazuregcp

Atlassian Jira setup

Projects, boards and workflows that fit how your team works, plus automation that links commits, builds and deployments to tickets. Confluence spaces for runbooks. More detail →

Python automation

Scripts and scheduled jobs for the repetitive work: database backups, environment cleanup, cloud cost reports, release notes, user provisioning and health checks.

pythonbashcronapis

Monitoring and alerting

Prometheus and Grafana dashboards for the numbers that matter, log collection, uptime checks and alerts that reach the right phone at the right time.

Security basics

Secrets in a vault, least-privilege access, image and dependency scanning in the pipeline, and backups you’ve actually tested by restoring.

How the 14-day launch kit runs

Fixed scope, fixed price, daily progress you can see in your own repositories.

  1. Day 1

    Audit call

Code, cloud account, current deploys, pain points.

  2. Days 2–4

    Pipeline

Build, test and scan on every pull request.

  3. Days 5–7

    Artifacts and environments

Artifactory, images, dev, staging and production.

  4. Days 8–10

    Server setup and secrets

Servers and environments scripted with Ansible, secrets moved out of code into a proper store.

  5. Days 11–13

    Monitoring

    Dashboards, alerts, tested backups.

  6. Day 14

    Handover

Runbook, recorded walkthrough, 30 days of support.

Hire full-time, or set it up once?

For most startups under 30 engineers, a full-time DevOps hire comes before there’s a full-time job to do.

Pipeline starter

One app that needs to stop being deployed by hand.

₹34,999 one-time

About 5 working days

International: $499

Why 5 days? The starter covers one app, one pipeline and one environment. The launch kit adds Artifactory, three environments, monitoring and a full handover, and that’s what takes 14 days.

  • CI on every pull request with GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Docker image build and versioning
  • Automatic deploy to one environment
  • Secrets moved out of code
  • Setup notes and 14 days of support

  • Fixing application code so it builds, passes tests or runs in containers. I’ll point out what needs changing, and can quote for it.
  • Cloud, VPS and hosting bills.
  • Software licences: JFrog Artifactory/Xray, Jira, Confluence, GitHub plans and similar are paid by you, in your own accounts.
  • Ongoing support after the included support period. That’s what the retainer is for.

Bigger than a startup setup?

If you have 10+ repos, enterprise customers, or security questionnaires to answer:

DevOps setup questions

Which cloud providers do you work with?
AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, as well as plain VPS providers like DigitalOcean and Hostinger when a full cloud setup isn’t needed yet.
Can you migrate us from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, or the other way?
Yes. I’ll map your existing jobs, rebuild them as code, run both side by side until the new pipeline is trusted, then switch off the old one.
We already have some CI. Can you just fix what’s there?
Yes. Many projects start as a fix: slow builds, flaky tests, a broken Artifactory or a deploy only one person understands. Tell me what hurts and I’ll quote for that.
Why is the starter 5 days and the kit 14?
The starter is one app, one pipeline, one environment. The kit adds Artifactory, three environments, monitoring and a full handover.
How do payments work?
For one-time setups, half up front and half at handover. Retainers are billed monthly, in advance.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, happily, before we look at any of your code.

Let’s look at your setup together.
