A small senior team that likes things that just work
NxtGen DevOps is a small, senior practice. It’s led by a DevOps engineer with more than seven years of hands-on experience, working with a DevOps manager with 20 years in the field, a senior systems and network administrator with 30, and an ERPNext specialist.
Why this exists
Over the years I’ve seen the same thing at company after company: talented developers losing hours to slow builds, deploys that only one person understands, and outages nobody hears about until a customer complains.
Big companies fix this with platform teams. Startups can’t afford one, and they shouldn’t need to. The basics of good DevOps (automated pipelines, versioned artifacts, scripted servers, monitoring) can be set up in weeks, not months, and then mostly run themselves.
That’s the work I do now: set it up properly, document it clearly, and hand it over. The same engineering habits go into the small business and wedding websites I build. They’re fast, secure, backed up, and they stay online.
Day to day, I’ve designed and run the full DevOps platform for a software company with a large multi-repo C/C++, Python and Helm codebase and enterprise customers: a shared CI/CD platform used by every repo, signed and scanned releases delivered to customer registries, a self-hosted runner fleet, Artifactory operations and engineering reporting. Everything built for clients is built fresh, in your accounts. See the case studies →
The team
Senior people only. You always know who is doing the work.
Lead DevOps engineer
CI/CD platforms, GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, JFrog Artifactory, signed releases and supply-chain security. Your main point of contact on every DevOps project.
DevOps manager
Two decades in DevOps and release engineering. Reviews designs, plans larger platform projects and steps in when a problem needs experience more than effort.
Senior systems & network administrator
A company director with 30 years in networking and infrastructure. Designs and builds labs, office networks and server rooms end to end: cabling, switching, firewalls, servers and virtualisation.
ERPNext specialist
Sets up and customises ERPNext for growing businesses: accounts, GST, inventory, sales, purchase and HR, plus data migration and training. ERPNext services →
